The last comes first
Fit is not a finishing step. Every program starts on a last we can defend against your size run and your wear-tester feedback.
The studio
TreadForm is a footwear design and development studio. We sit between the brand team that wants a hero product and the factory that has to make 40,000 pairs of it without a single delamination claim.

A program opens with a two-hour brief teardown: category, price architecture, target consumer, factory, launch window. From there our designers and pattern engineers work on the same file — sketch, 3D block, last modification, upper pattern, tooling drawing. Nothing is handed over the wall.
We wear-test in the environment the shoe claims. Basketball models go to a league team for six weeks. Boots go up wet granite. Heels are walked on cobbles and marble lobby floors before the heel stem angle is signed off.
Fit is not a finishing step. Every program starts on a last we can defend against your size run and your wear-tester feedback.
Our tech packs are written for the people who cut, stitch and press. Fewer clarification emails, fewer sample rounds.
We name suppliers, gauges and recycled content percentages. If a claim cannot survive a lab report, it does not go on the shoe.
A shoe that offends nobody sells to nobody. We push proportion and colour until the brief has an opinion.
